It's been quite the week in Munich, hasn't it? First, Bayern Munich traveled to Portugal in the
Champions League and were summarily beaten by FC Porto. Then, the following day, Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt resigned from FC Bayern (for the second time) after nearly forty years with the club after, according toHerr Doktor, the medical staff was blamed for Bayern's loss to Porto.
However, in spite of all that's going on at the moment, FC Bayern still have Bundesliga games to play. With a ten point lead over second place Wolfsburg and six matches remaining in the Bundesliga season, Bayern hit the road once again to face off against Hoffenheim
Bayern are making this journey without eight players, and all of the club's focus will be on next Tuesday's return leg against Porto in the Champions League. If Hoffenheim have a shot at winning the game, Bayern's ability to keep their focus on the task at hand will be a big determining factor.
In the grand scheme of things, three points is three points and moves FC Bayern one match closer to clinching their third straight Bundesliga crown. A win over Hoffenheim would be very important. Mia san mia.
